About Evergreen

What began back in the 80’s with one man and a truck, helping friends and acquaintances with their irrigation needs, has transpired into one of West Michigan’s leading irrigation contractors. It was started by Carl Assink and has developed into a partnership with sons: Kirk and Nick as well as having a qualified staff of service technicians and installers. We are determined to provide the highest quality installation and service program for our customers.

We are members of the Irrigation Association, The Home Builders Association of West Michigan, the Better Business Bureau and the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association. We have also been chosen as one of Rain Bird’s Select Contractors for the West Michigan Area. As Evergreen Sprinkling continues to grow as a company, our personnel also expand their knowledge of the industry by obtaining certifications through THE IRRIGATION ASSOCIATION.

Our certifications include:

Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC)

• The Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) certification tests the technical experience and competence of a contractor to install, repair and maintain irrigation systems.

• The Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) certifies that we are competent in evaluation of site conditions and preparation of professional irrigation designs.

• As Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditors (CLIA), we are certified to collect site data, make maintenance recommendations and perform water audits. Through this analytical work at each site, we can develop irrigation base schedules.
